Funded Football is a charity organisation focused on providing financial support for grassroots football initiatives. We understand the financial burdens many families face, and our mission is to alleviate these burdens by helping young players participate in the sport they love. Our goal is not just to fund; we aim to inspire and empower the next generation of footballers.
Our Mission
At FundedFootball, our mission is simple:
To make grassroots football truly accessible for every child—regardless of their family’s financial situation.
We believe that no child should miss out on the benefits of team sport friendship, fitness, confidence because of a price tag. While many clubs receive funding for equipment or facilities, families are still left to cover rising annual subscriptions, often over £200 per season. For many single parents and low-income households, this cost is simply out of reach.
FundedFootball exists to close that gap.
We provide direct financial support to families fully or partially covering their child’s football fees so they can play, grow, and belong.
Because football should never be a luxury.
It should be a right.
💡 What Makes Funded Football Different
While several UK charities and grant schemes support grassroots football, nearly all funding is routed through clubs — covering equipment, kits, coaching, or pitch hire. But there’s a critical gap:
🎯 No charity currently exists to support families directly with the cost of football club subscriptions.
Many clubs still charge £200–£300 per year, and despite receiving grants themselves, they often pass those costs on to parents especially those outside “priority” funding groups.
At FundedFootball, we take a different approach.
