FundedFootball Takes Centre Stage as Portsmouth FC’s 12th Man Sponsor
FundedFootball was proud to be the official 12th Man sponsor for Portsmouth FC’s fixture against Blackburn Rovers.
It was an excellent day at Fratton Park and a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of FundedFootball, the work we do and our commitment to making grassroots football accessible to more children.
Throughout the day, we were able to speak about the financial challenges facing families across local footballing communities. The cost of club fees, boots, kit, equipment and travel can quickly add up, sometimes leaving children at risk of missing out on the game they love.
FundedFootball exists to help remove these financial barriers. Through targeted financial support, practical assistance and signposting, we want to ensure that a family’s circumstances do not determine whether a child can participate in grassroots football.
Football provides much more than physical activity. It gives children an opportunity to build confidence, develop friendships, learn teamwork and feel part of their local community.
Being Portsmouth FC’s 12th Man sponsor provided a fantastic platform to share that message with supporters, businesses and potential partners. It also allowed us to highlight how donations and partnerships can help FundedFootball reach more children and families.
We would like to thank Portsmouth FC for the warm welcome and for giving FundedFootball the opportunity to raise awareness at such a brilliant event.
The day represented another important step in our journey as we continue building relationships, growing our reach and working to ensure that financial hardship never becomes the reason a child has to leave the game.

Founded by Michael, a 12-year-old aspiring footballer from Essex, Velocity Ballerz was created with a simple mission: to design lightweight, comfortable shin pads that help young players perform with confidence and freedom on the pitch.
Built around grassroots football culture, ambition and perormance, Velocity Ballerz understands the game from a player’s perspective and shares Funded Football’s passion for supporting the next generation.
